Hailing from
Italy this once six-piece - (now five-piece) was formed in 2010 and has carved out a very meaningful
niche in the industrial music world.
I have been
listening to the band for some time and thrilled to finally have Almost Human in my hot sweaty palms and
I want to savour the excitement held within the tiny silver disc as I watch it
disappear into the player.
In the band’s
own words they describe themselves as and I quote “A perfect mix of modern
metal and synthetic orchestral melodies”
The melodic
sound does offer one of total detachment whilst making you aware of a more
complex side that offers Nu-metal, Industrial fragments and more besides.
The band
entered the studio in 2010 to create this fantastic CD entitled Almost Human and one I can relate to
extremely well. It was finally mastered at Forward Studios in Rome, and edited
by dysFUNCTION PRODUCTIONS.
In May 2011
"Almost Human" was
published in the U.S.A. and around the world on major online stores such as
iTunes, Amazon, Napster and many others. The band begins a long series of
promotional concerts, sharing the stage with international artists such as
Sepultura, Mnemic, Raunchy, Neosis, Empyrios & more.
The cover is
just as appetising as the songs contained within it and offer the lyrics inside
the booklet and with a very cyber industrial feel using strong metallic blues to
give that eye catching appeal.
Since recording
“Almost Human” Logical Terror has made a couple of line-up changes and now substituted D.D.L.
for Thor on drums and Lizard has not been replaced on guitar.
Nameless
Dark ambient
melodic sounds usher forth with brutal force and captivate with its industrial
feel. Great duel vocals scathe and brutalise whilst the accompanying sounds
swathe you in quality musical textures.
Gender 3000
Gives off a
sensation of bubbling and squelching melodies that quickly explode around you
whilst the vocals are scourging, the effects of echoes and distortion superbly
executed offering a catchy content of rich and consistent synthetic fieriness,

More special
effects set the pace with a strong intro and then the fire and brimstone comes
into play with caustic results. Solid drum beats and bass hooks mingle with the
duel vocal and give the track melody and rhythm but not losing touch with the
industrial element giving the track that ice cold detachment.
Unfilled
Pulverising to
the last this blasts into being with more ambient effects. Superb vocals launch
at the listener with a sense of gratification and amazing harmonies to boot.
Strong bass you can feel in the gut as it melts the speakers it holds the
attention with strong attention to detail as the track just comes alive.
Degenerate/Regenerate
And now for my
favourite track its thunderous melody engulfs you with its scathing vocal
content and head banging qualities. I love this chorus it just lingers in the
brain and a good contender for the repeat button. With the speakers turned to 11
I want my ears to throb and be assassinated with these quality beats and feel
the blood being persecuted as it courses through my veins – this track delivers
in abundance with a melodic charm and I don’t want it to end.
Degenerate/Regenerate
Self-Extinction
Gives the
illusion you are in the middle of space with an electronic voice and squelchy wicked
electronic bubbles and powerful riffs it indeed carries you off into another
realm not of this planet maybe that is where the title Almost Human comes from? Sinister and brutal it makes me wonder how
something of this quality can be so beautiful. Make no mistake you will feel
under “attack” when listening.

Thundering
beats emanate forth and radiate more powerful melodies and oozes deep rhythm.
Clean vocals mingle with the menacing vocals tormenting the senses and terrorizing
the core of your existence like a curse it won’t leave you alone. The riffs are
stupendous as the track builds but still offers a melodic beauty that will
leave you breathless.
Facing Eternity
Perhaps the
most weakest track on the album although the beautiful riffs and powerful
breakdowns do redeem it somewhat but the scornful vocals have been replaced for
a more clean effect however it is quite an epic track non the less
To sum up there
are some blistering tracks contained within this album that will no doubt
impress the hardest of souls. It captures an unparalleled quality bringing with
it deeply satisfying melodic powerful riffs and biting beats not to mention the
malicious vocal that makes this a memorable listen.
If you like it
raw, compelling, and melodic you will love this album it scratches the itch in
so many ways. It will leave a tense and unsettling mood in the brain for a
while after the tracks end and at the same time will leave you wanting more of
the same - time to hit repeat!
