Biography:
At the helm of Juggernaut
Music Group, a UK based label are the brains of Nick Quarm who is very well known in the circle of EBM, Synthpop
and Industrial scene.
Nick is well versed having done his fair quota with webzines such as
Heathen Harvest, Judas Kiss and of course Brutal Resonance.
Juggernaut Music Group is at the heart of the matter, although through Juggernaut Services, manage, promote
and work alongside new talent.
The Industrial scene is just about making headway these days but
still open to criticism – for me personally I think it is an exciting genre
that unveils a lot of extremely new acts that are now slowly starting to emerge
and bringing people together who normally wouldn’t listen to within earshot of
Aggrotech or EBM.

So not letting their two year anniversary go without some form of
celebration Juggernaut have kindly
put out this “FREE” album that has a pick of the best seventeen tracks on it – “open
your minds and live a little, you never know what you are going to discover
once the door opens!”

E Mr Kitty – Pathogen
With a name like “Mr Kitty” and being a lover of the feline variety
it’s hard for me not to love this guy, although his music is most definitely
not about cats! Synth pop is a trip back to the 80’s when it more than touched
the charts but smothered it with an array of bands all stuck behind
synthesizers. This track is an uplifting little jaunt of beautiful tempered
beats and controlled rhythms.
E Voice Coil – Clear
The track bristles with a harsh and powerful beat and jagged synth
keys. The vocal leans toward a more monotone flavor.
E Dreams Divide – Our Creation
Bubbles with a bounce of creative rambunctious rhythms. Contained
within its rippling beauty there is a male and female vocal along with a more
synthetic vocal – this is very addictive indeed!
E IIOIOIOII – Face them All
An unusual sultry track from IIOIOIOII that soars with a caressing
run on the senses. Although slow burning it has a certain amount of pull that
seductively lures and coaxes.
E Citizen 16 – Temptation
This is a bold track with strong vocal and samples. It holds a
swathe of intoxicating melodies and a harsher vocal plundering which is
supersonic!
E Deadliner – Finally, Sky
Love this twisting rhythm to death it saunters boldly and sizzles
with antagonistic qualities. It needs no vocals as the music is bludgeoning!
Ø Citizen 16 (Feat IIOIOIOII)
More seductive tones
from Citizen 16 with IIOIOIOII’s input – this is epic in every sense of the
word with over the top addictiveness. A definite repeater! Lovin this! It
swamps you with rounded rhythms, and huge melodies and a brilliant addictive chorus
that I can’t stop singing to. (Not scheduled for release?) WTF!!!
E Electric Breathing – Chaos
Pounding and thoroughly breath-taking with a soaring rhythm that
takes one to another realm. Fast, upbeat with seething vocal rampage – what is
not to love about this??? It will give you blisters on your blisters!!!
Ø Renoized – Defcon
Well everyone must
know by now, I simply adore ‘Renoized’ this stuff just broods ferociously and
the vocal content is all encompassing and empowering – need I say more?
E Cryptic Dawn – Awake the Demons
Fiery and ferocious, add a splash of ambiance and sultry sampled
voices. There is a lot to feast upon here and thoroughly engaging the senses.
Let your Demons be awakened!
E Electric Breathing – Dead Body
Erection
I am not going to hurt you, I am just gonna bash your brains out! This
says it all and although it is a musical bashing it will do just what it says
on the tin! It’s like having your brains bashed out with a lemon – it’s going
to hurt a bit but you will be cleansed beyond belief!
C Cryptic Dawn – Other Winds
To sum this track up you need to use the words spiky and angular –
it ambles and meanders and for me is somewhat a weak track.
E AR12 Play Thing (Feat Pete Crane
Shiv-R)
Now this is nice and gnarly its stunted rhythmic pulses and harsh
swiping vocal will eat you alive.
E Venal Flesh – Grotesque (Pre
Surgery Mix)
This builds to an enormous level in what is a ferocious frenzy of
rhythmic swagger that taunts and teases the senses with emotive force. The
screeching vocal and samples are chaotic and menacing – and right up my street!
E Imminent Violence – Before the
Storm
The calm before the storm – it holds that antagonistic flair that
scampers through the speakers with a fiery melodic boldness. Flanked with
strong slabs of rhythm it will quicken the heart rate and is a good strong instrumental.
E Tactile Module – Before Crisis
(Ruinizer Remix)
Hold on to your ears this will pierce them for you! A rather punk like
vocal takes over the rampaging rhythms and super-sized beats on this malignant
force of madness! Great use of effects!! This is most definitely harsh EBM!
C Tapewyrm – Sacrament
The rhythmic noise pounds furiously but it is a bit too much for my
total liking. It gnaws angrily on the aural but not much can be heard over the
racket!
Summary:
C So with two weaker tracks this means that fifteen tracks can be
enjoyed and experienced.
Ø I have a pick of the bunch which are labelled - two favorites are Citizen 16 Feat IIOIOIOII and Renoized – Defcon – played repeatedly
and really rewarding tracks.
Although the other thirteen tracks are engaging and well worth
giving them the attention they deserve. But we are all going to have our
favourites on this aren’t we?
