Into the Dead Lights
This is highly compelling as it wages war on the senses and then
like a mighty explosion begins its frenzied battle. It rips the breath from
your struggling lungs and in a dark haze it consumes you with every riff of its
strenuous structure.
Hate Mask
The heat is very much firmly fixed as this track bludgeon’s its way
to the aural in energetic format. It music is all empowering! It lavishes
brutal hostility and delivers in equal measure.
The Eye Within
This track makes a riveting entrance and is highly rewarding.
Seething and compelling it makes its mark with a hard edged vocal that scrapes
the murky depths.
Buried Dreams
This hosts a very dream-like structure with macabre layers that when
stripped away reveals a very savage underbelly. It is an extremely magnetic
track that offers scintillating rewards.
End Comes
The ever increasing intensity moves forward at a steely pace. It brings with it a myriad of pleasurable
riffs and damming blast beats that immerse the listener into their savage
world.
Dark New Messiah
Just as tempestuous as the last five tracks, it’s fast and precision
delivered but its beat like rhythms seem heavier and more rounded, giving you
that something more to get your teeth into.
The End of a Trip
Brazen and with no mercy this track broods with condemning passions
and a lot of energy breaks freely from of its structures to simply mesmerize.
It stirs with intent to antagonize and shows contempt through the baring of
sharp teeth which is no exaggeration.

“Creative and forceful it has the
capacity to remove your eyeballs from their sockets and remove your ears
completely in a dramatic operation, although the instruments are musical rather
than medical and do a much quicker job!”

And the River runs Red
This fueled filled slab of death metal is fast, ferocious and hate
filled to say the very least. Its imposing rhythms are damming and well
equipped to give out pain.
Blind
Will give you a good workout if trying to move your head in time to
these rambunctious rhythms! It is rather a predatory track that lunges at its
victims and unafraid to reveal its true nature – which is emblazoned with
malignancy.
A Frozen Life
Is a lot more melodic – however played extremely fast and more along
the lines of highly strung this will give you no respite from its thick
textures of glowing passion. It is on a mission and only when it reaches its
peak will it submit, but not before it utterly decimates its hordes.
Summary
The talent from this band oozes like an open wound and just as
gruesome as the music contained on the CD. Although the cover is desolate it
really does not give anything away about the music that it holds, which will be
a big surprise for the listener as long as they like their metal raw and
cutting the bone!
It is very unusual from the strange beginnings on some of the tracks
to the final deep and resonating structures they deliver. The evidence is in the listening of course.
Each track is skilfully precision cut and means serious business.
Creative and forceful it has the capacity to remove your eyeballs from
their sockets and remove your ears completely in a dramatic operation, although
the instruments are musical rather than medical and do a much quicker job!
There is no coaxing, or persuasiveness about it – it just goes all
out to consume and believe me this does make no mistake about it! And let’s not
forget that beneath that deadly sound lies one female guitarist Cindy – who
along with Romain deliver some scathing fret attacks during the entire album.
No detours here – this goes straight in for the kill.
